Whatcom Watch began reporting votes in 1999. We’re committed to continuing to report on votes; we feel they’re a valuable contribution to our community — and subscribers affirmed in a recent survey that the votes are valuable to them.
Our vote coverage was uneven during the first three years, but has been comprehensive over the past 22 years. We’ve covered a total of 1,706 meetings: 671 were city meetings, 552 were county meetings and 483 were port meetings.
